Booking
FULL PAYMENT is required on booking to secure the studio hire. 20% of the payment will be retained as a none refundable deposit for any cancellations that happen less than 30 days before the booking.

IMPORTANT – You must book the correct package for the amount of people in your team. If more people arrive at the studio than you have booked for you will be asked to pay the remaining fee, failure to pay the remaining fee will result in discontinuation of services and full payment will be withheld.

Payment and Cancellation
The deposit is non-refundable unless 30 days notice is given.
The remaining balance is non-refundable unless 7 days notice is given.

Use of Equipment
All equipment at Silkwood Studio is available for use.
The equipment:-
-must not be removed from the studio
-must not be modified in any way
-must be used as recommended by the manufacturer
-must be used by trained or authorised personnel
-must be returned to their original position

Setting up the equipment and the resulting images are the responsibility of the client

Models
The safety and health of the models and any other attendees is the responsibility of the photographer/person hiring the studio at all times. The client must ensure that his/her own public liability insurance is operative for all persons in the studio during the hours of use, to cover any accident, injury or death.

Challenge 25 & Safeguarding Policy – Silkwood Studio

Silkwood Studio operates a strict Challenge 25 policy for any photoshoots involving nudity, implied nudity or lingerie. Any model who appears under the age of 25 will be required to present valid photographic ID to confirm they are aged 18 or over. This policy is in place to protect clients, staff and the integrity of the studio.

Age Verification

All models participating in nude or semi-nude photography must be at least 18 years old. Acceptable ID includes a passport or driving licence. Copies of ID may be securely recorded for compliance purposes. No exceptions are made under any circumstances.

Consent Requirements

Written, informed consent must be obtained before any session involving nudity or implied nudity. Consent forms clearly outline the nature of the shoot, usage of images and the model’s right to withdraw consent at any stage before publication.

Professional Environment

All sessions are conducted in a respectful, professional environment. The model’s comfort and dignity are prioritised at all times. Models may request breaks, changes in styling or to stop the shoot at any point.

Chaperones

Models are welcome to bring a chaperone to any shoot. For first-time clients, this is encouraged to ensure confidence and transparency.

Privacy & Image Use

Images are stored securely and only used in line with agreed permissions. No images are shared, published or distributed without written agreement.

Zero-Tolerance Policy

Silkwood Studio maintains a zero-tolerance approach to misconduct, coercion or inappropriate behaviour. Any concerns raised by a model will be taken seriously and addressed immediately.

This policy ensures that all creative work is carried out responsibly, legally and with full respect for those involved

Breakages, Loss or Damages
The client is responsible for all losses, damages and breakages of studio equipment during the hire period
Use of the equipment supplied by Silkwood Studio is entirely at the risk of the client
No permanent alternations or additions may be made to the studio unless permission is given

Set Up and Take down time
The client must include set up and take down time within the hours booked to avoid overtime charges.
Overtime Charges are calculated at £50 per hour unless pre-arranged before the session.

Late Arrival
Booking period is strictly within the hours booked.
No additional time is allowed for late arrival.

Public Liability
The client must ensure that his/her own public liability insurance is operative for all persons in the studio during the hours of use, to cover any accident, injury or death.

Termination
Silkwood Studio reserve the right to terminate the contract if the client is in breach of these Terms and Conditions

Please do not arrive more than 15 minutes early for your studio hire time.

Content
Silkwood Studio reserves the right to create content for social media and promotional usage during your hire time at the studio. We will always ask permission verbally before we do so.
