Introducing Richard Spurdens

I like to photograph what gives me an emotional response and each time I pick up the camera my pictures become personal.

What I am passionate about is all to do with visual beauty, and that is an important element in my work.

From intimate portraits to capturing the art of dance movement, I try to apply the same demanding standards to all my photography.

My images have been published both at home and abroad in books and magazines.

My work has also won awards in both national and international photographic competitions.

Introducing Larry Walker

‘m an amateur photographer who enjoys studio photography. When I lost the use of a space to set up my own lights and backdrops, about four years ago, I discovered Silkwood Studio and have photographed models there regularly since then.

I’m a Pudsey Camera Club member and attend Yorkshire Monochrome Group as places to show my work and also enter national salons.

Introducing Nida Mozuraite

I’m Nida, a photographer based in Leeds. I specialise in weddings, events, portraits, and fashion. With each shoot, I see a unique opportunity to tell a story through my images. Whether it’s capturing a heartfelt moment at a wedding or showcasing the identity of a brand, my goal is to capture the true essence of every subject I photograph.

Introducing Jo Hernandes

When I was just a young boy, maybe like seventeen
I would talk to my father, told him about my dreams
And often he would tell me don’t rush to be a man
I heard the words that he spoke but could not understand
‘Cause to me life was easy, it was just fun and games
Until I saw that people were filled with so much pain
It’s harder to share sometimes, easier to pretend
The way we treat each other, I just don’t comprehend
Last night I heard a story too crazy to be true
I wouldn’t dare repeat it, what are we gonna do?
And as we figure it out, the time just slips away
Don’t worry ’bout tomorrow, just be glad you’ve got today

Introducing Steve Gormley

Steve had a background in moving graphics prior to starting his photography.

Being a keen motorcyclist he moved into motorcycle racing photography concentrating on motorcycle road racing covering such prestigious races as the Isle of Man TT and the Ulster Grand Prix in Northern Ireland.

He is now a regularly accredited photographer. He has been published in National in International magazines. In addition to his racing he also enjoyed nature and landscape photography during the closed season. In 2023 he decided to expand his portfolio by diversifying into model photography which he has concentrated on as well as continuing with his racing photography.

He has now worked in several of the countries studios and also taken part in home and location shoots. He continues to try different styles and genres of model photography. He hopes that one day he will also manage to become a published model photographer.
